Yes. ReykR Rijschool gives car driving lessons (category B licence) in Driebergen-Rijsenburg and the immediate surroundings. Picked up at home or at Driebergen-Zeist station. You drive all your lessons with instructor Reynoud Kuiper, and you take your practical exam in Utrecht.

You drive your practical exam in Utrecht. That is why we also practise there during your lessons, so the traffic on exam day is no surprise. Before the exam you take the interim test, which is included in both packages.

The trial lesson takes about an hour. First we get to know each other calmly, then you drive yourself: we start somewhere quiet and as soon as you feel at ease we head into traffic. You notice straight away how the guidance feels and I see where you stand, so you get an honest estimate of the number of lessons you need. If you choose a completely no-obligation trial lesson, there are no strings attached. If you like it and then choose a lesson package, the trial lesson is free.

A 30-hour package costs € 2,525 and a 40-hour package € 3,225, both including VAT, interim test, practical exam and all CBR fees. Prefer single lessons? They cost € 75 per 60 minutes, a separate exam or resit is € 375. A lesson package is paid for at least 50% at the start, single lessons are invoiced per 5 hours. That differs per person: your age, previous experience and how often you take lessons all play a part. In the Netherlands the average is about 50 hours of driving lessons. At ReykR you choose the number of lesson hours that suits you. After your trial lesson you get a personal estimate and during your course we look at your progress together. If you have hours left, you simply get them back.

Lessons usually last 60 or 90 minutes, from getting in to getting out. The 30-hour package contains 25 hours of driving, the interim test (2.5 hours) and the practical exam (2.5 hours). The 40-hour package has 35 hours of driving plus the same test and exam.

Then you are in exactly the right place. I am trained as an exam-anxiety instructor and know how tension can get in the way of learning. We build the lessons up calmly from easy to difficult, with plenty of repetition and clear explanation, so you are always on familiar ground. Making mistakes is fine, that is how you learn. Towards the exam we practise extra with the interim test, so the exam situation is no longer a surprise.

How soon you can start depends on how flexible you are, how much room you have in your schedule and whether you have already passed your theory. You take lessons at times that suit you, also around school, study or work, and we agree the schedule together every week. Your plans change? Then I think along. You pass the theory yourself, but you do not have to figure it out alone. Once you have your theory certificate, you can take the practical exam. My tip: start the theory in good time, so your driving lessons connect well and you lose no time.
